The original restaurant row in Atlanta, Cheshire Bridge Road, is home to the oldest restaurants in Atlanta; including the Colonnade, Nino's Italian Restaurant, Alfredo's, Red Snapper, Nakato Japanese Restaurant, Bamboo Luau, Hong Kong Harbor, Rhodes Bakery, International Bakery, one of the original locations of Johnny's Pizza, Franco's Italian Restaurant and Las Margaritas Latin Restaurant.  

The street is known for its eclectic and diverse businesses and its neon, but businesses on the street prides itself on the unique and colorful nature of the street.  Fred Sipes, owner of Topaz Salon had the most apt comparison "to LA's Melrose".      

Cheshire Bridge is also home to Woodfire Grill; antique and specialty stores such as Antiques & Beyond, New Baby Products and Buckhead / Midtown Vacuum & Miele Kitchen Appliance; contemporary furniture galleries such as DOMUS, By Design and Bed & Down; and one of the oldest neighborhood nursery, Habersham Gardens.  

Despite its first impression of used tire shops, auto-repair stores, adult-entertainment and warehouses; Cheshire Bridge has many of Atlanta's oldest and unique businesses.  

With the new Clifton Transit Intiative and other developments underway in the area, the Cheshire Bridge Business Association hopes to build a well-planned street that is friendly to businesses, neighborhoods, pedestrians, motorists, the environment, our elderly and children.  Cheshire Bridge's vision is a vibrant and eclectic street that is the center of commerce, culture, communcation, community and growth.
